We must all own responsibility for our actions and the success or failure of projects.
Only through dedication to our cause can success be attained.
Collaborative efforts fail when communication breaks down, but good communication can lead a group of motivated individuals to accomplish more together than they ever could have alone.
A willingness to give is a vital part of assisting developing communities. Not all contributions are financial. We must also give of our time and our hearts.
To better the communities we seek to assist, we also must constantly seek to better ourselves.
We must be fair and impartial.
We must uphold our principles at all times and in all our dealings, even when others do not hold to the same moral guidelines.
Education is the key to making a better future for developing communities.
We must take pride in our work and believe that we can make the world a better place through effort.
To make the world a better place for tomorrow, we must help communities become self-sustaining and protect the environment for future generations.

ABOUT US +
OUR MISSION
In 2008, members of the Cameroonian Diaspore living in the US founded the Wimbum Community Foundation (WCF) with the idea that social, economic, environmental, and cultural transformations for the communities in Cameroon and sub-Saharan Africa are within reach.
Today’s world of pluralism is scourged by social, economic, and environmental inconsistencies and problems. We must work together if a community is to develop strategically.
Governments face various challenges and constraints while trying to meet the needs of communities on their own. Therefore, WCF views its mission as imperative—to render assistance in accelerating growth in developing communities including those in Cameroon and beyond.
It is our fervent belief that the collaborative efforts of many can put diverse resources to the best possible use, thereby leading to the successful community development that is so desperately needed in many areas.
OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES
WCF staff and members hold to the following guiding principles. These principles guide every aspect of our dealings with communities, donors, partners, and other collaborators:
